For more than half my life, I have been teaching, guiding, and coaching as an outdoor professional. In both ministry and conventional settings, my participants have ranged from 2 to 92. The feeling of joyful accomplishment on their faces never gets old.

Sometimes we need someone to walk us through a challenge; someone to whisper that they believe in us. Most of the struggles we face here in the first world are mental and spiritual. Having a guide to help us get above and beyond those limitations is powerful.

I’m here to empower you in getting beyond the fear, hesitation, and obstacles so you can reach those accomplishments you’ve always dreamed of.

No ambition is too small. Everyone starts somewhere! If your dream is to lace up those shoes and take a walk, I’ll encourage you that it’s more than possible. If you have been staring at that mountain peak with thoughts of what it would be like to stand on top, I’m here to cheer you on.

From sofa to summit and everything in between, Unstuck Adventures was created to empower you in taking that first step toward the pursuit you’ve been dreaming of.

You’re not alone: I plan to walk alongside you on this journey. As I chase my own story of accomplishing hard things, I hope to chronicle the deep struggles and victories that come with getting outside my comfort zone too.

I’ve spent many years pushing back on the idea to start this site. But after countless prayers and hours of research, I felt a calling. A calling to share my knowledge, passion, and hope in pursuing feats that feel so much bigger than us.

Adventuring is so much more than epic mountaineering.

Every breath gives us opportunity to grow in our perspective, learn more, and receive possibilities even the daily mundane holds for us.
